Regarding the litter, the blue crystals provided are decent but don't last as long as expected, especially for cats that urinate frequently. I've found pretty litter to be more absorbent and effective in odor control. Regular clean-up is still necessary, and litter mats can help minimize tracking. Overall, the maintenance is much simpler compared to traditional clay litter, and using pretty litter doesn't leave an unpleasant smell in the vacuum.
