I'm in the event biz, a lot of which has gone hybrid post-Corona, meaning streaming is a big deal. A solid PTZ camera is key for a pro look. Normally, I'd go for something high-end, but it's pricey. Not all gigs have the budget for that, so I started hunting in the more wallet-friendly zone and stumbled upon a great find. It had to be 4K, controllable over Ethernet, and PoE capable. This camera ticked all those boxes at a more digestible price point, so I decided to give it a whirl. It comes with all the trimmings: power adapter, wall mount with screws and anchors, a 3m USB-C cable that screws in for security, a remote (sans batteries), and an English manual. After unboxing, I hooked it up to power and a monitor via HDMI. It did a little spin to check its functions upon power-up, even flashing its IP address on the screen (192.168.1.205) for a hot second. Wanting to control it over Ethernet, I plugged it into my network, punched in the IP in my browser, and logged in (default login is admin/admin). The interface was straightforward, offering live feed on one side and settings on the other, covering everything from image tweaks to PTZ and preset configurations. You can save over 100 presets through the web, but the remote only handles 1-10, which is plenty for most. Adjustments include PT and zoom speeds, flipping the image for different mountings, and a slew of settings for brightness, saturation, and contrast, plus aperture and white balance adjustments. While it's not as silky smooth in motion as some higher-end models, this camera does its job well. Autofocus is a tad slower but gets there in the end. The image quality is surprisingly sharp for its price point, offering a ton of customization to boot. I also tested it as a webcam, connecting it via the included USB cable to my PC. Windows recognized it instantly, no driver dance required. The remote's essential for self-service in conference settings, though it does need a couple of AAA batteries. It can handle up to four cameras, with easy preset saving and selection. Be mindful when fiddling with USB modes, as the wrong setting gives you a black screen, but a quick hit of the “PTZ Reset” sorts it out. The remote's range is impressive, especially from the front, and it still manages from the sides, though the back is its weak spot. It outperforms other models in terms of distance and angle responsiveness. In summary, this camera is a champ for smaller video conferences where fluid motion isn't critical, thanks to its stellar video quality, easy remote control, and a suite of connections (screwable USB, HDMI, Ethernet). It's also a solid secondary camera for bigger setups due to its quality and connectivity options like Ethernet with PoE, RS485, and RS232. I'd argue it's the best bang for your buck in the PTZ market right now.
Got the 3X version first for streaming our church services online and was seriously impressed with how it just plugged in and played, and the video quality was a massive step up from our old webcam. But, having it up front wasn't ideal since the zoom couldn't reach from the back. We even had to place it in the front row, which the pastor wasn't too keen on, but he dealt with it. We used OBS Studio to run the feed from my laptop, adding our church logo to the broadcast, which looked pretty slick. Ended up upgrading to the 10X version so we could mount it at the back of the room. Since USB cables have their limits, I rigged it up with a 100-foot ethernet cable and a USB converter, and it worked like a charm. The remote control feature is super handy; you can switch between cams that are set to different codes, although it's all line-of-sight because it works on IR. The back sensor gets a bit blocked by the USB slot, though. Haven't really explored the other ways to control it. OBS makes switching between cameras smooth, giving our feed a more polished look. The remote's presets are a lifesaver for quickly changing views without messing around too much, especially since the camera moves slower and gets a bit noisy when zoomed in tight. The cameras auto-adjust to different lighting and focus, which is cool, but you can also tweak the focus yourself. The colors can look quite different between the two cameras depending on the background, like when the pastor moves in front of the whiteboard. Still figuring out if I can adjust that manually. Anyway, a guy from church liked the setup so much he bought the 3X off me for his business calls, and I didn't hesitate to get another 10X model. Really recommend this camera for its versatility and quality.
Grabbed a camera for my online classes, and it's been ace! The video and sound quality are top-notch, perfect for both work and school stuff. Super easy to connect to my computer, and the design is pretty sleek. Been using it every day without a hitch. Quality and functionality are bang on. The packaging was decent, and the seller was really helpful answering my questions. Totally worth it.
The 4K PTZ Camera we set up in our conference room is a hit. The clarity and detail it adds to our virtual meetings is amazing. Love the pan-tilt-zoom function; it's a breeze to adjust the view so everyone's in frame and crystal clear, which has really smoothed out our remote meetings. Installing it was no sweat, and it fits right in with the room's vibe. The autofocus keeps things sharp, even when there's a lot of movement, so we stay focused on the meeting. Threw in a couple of screenshots to show off how well the zoom works, really impressed with the quality during meetings. This camera's become crucial for us, making our video calls way better. Would totally recommend it to any business looking to up their video conferencing game.
I went for this camera for our small church's live streams, and it's been brilliant. The video quality is surprisingly good, and it syncs up with OBS without any fuss. The pan, tilt, and zoom functions are smooth, and the zoom doesn't degrade the image quality at all. Being able to preset camera angles on the remote is super convenient. The ceiling mount is solid and was easy to install. Super happy with this PTZ camera and would definitely suggest it if you're setting up over 15 feet away—just make sure to use a quality USB cable.
This camera was a steal compared to the quotes we got for our building. Sure, it's not a $5k camera, but for streaming live video, it's spot on. The zoom and movement are smooth enough, and the image quality is pretty good in our well-lit church. Low light might not be as great, but the presets are handy for switching views easily. For the price, it's a solid choice unless you absolutely need 4k or have a low-light setup. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
Had a bit of a hiccup with the camera moving too far left or right initially, but figured out it was just low batteries in the remote causing the issue. With fresh batteries, it's all good. The picture and zoom are decent, and the video quality is solid for using it as a webcam hooked up to a PC.
Picked this camera up for my Zoom meetings, and it's been fantastic. The design is really neat, and the image quality is sharp. Setting it up and connecting to my laptop was straightforward. My first time buying a conference camera and the seller was really helpful with my questions. Highly recommend it.
Had a couple of issues at the start, but the company was super helpful and got everything sorted. Now it works great.
Was a bit skeptical with so few reviews and our tight budget, but this PTZ camera has been a great find for our church. The 10x zoom does the job well, and the remote is pretty intuitive. The presets are useful, and the mounting hardware feels sturdy. The only real issue is it doesn't handle contrast well, like sunlight on the pulpit washes out the bright areas. But under artificial light, it's perfect. For any church looking into starting streaming without spending a ton, this camera's a good bet. Plus, it was recognized by OBS right away.
